Big Baby Hopes To Help Big Blue: Fat Chance

The NY Giants signed former Dolphins DT Manuel Wright on Wednesday in hopes that he gets in shape to give the G-Men some added depth.

Wright, a USC product, was taken in the 2005 supplemental draft by the Dolphins but was released earlier this year. He was later picked up by the Buffalo Bills and let go shortly after. Unfortuantely, Wright is known more for crying when former Dolphin coach Nick Saban scoldeed him for being over weight than he is for his on field performance.

So to be clear, we picked up a fat and apparently over sensitive DT who has been cut twice in two years? Sounds promising...maybe he and Eli can cry together. Speaking of Eli, has anyone else seen the new DirectTV add with the Mannings and Leinart? If so, did you pick up on the fact that everyone in the commercial (Peyton, Archie, Leinart and even Mrs. Manning) all have lines, but Eli just sits there with his classic dumbfounded look throughout the whole thing? Typical Eli.
